Welcome to The Excel Center national movement! Since its humble beginnings, The Excel Center has experienced incredible success, with measurable and proven impact in the communities it serves. In 2013, The Excel Center expanded nationally and launched the national office. Today, there are over 30 Excel Center locations across the United States.
Meet Our National Office Team
Jaylyn Brown | Policy, Research & Advocacy Manager
Jaylyn Brown is the Policy, Research and Advocacy Manager for The Excel Center National Office. Jaylyn works with national partners to assess the aptitude for opening The Excel Center campuses in new territories. She provides support for policy analysis, advocacy planning and research.
Katie Bustamante | Regional Director of The Excel Center National Office
Katie Bustamante is the Regional Director of The Excel Center National Office. She provides consultation and support to national partners opening and operating The Excel Center. She leads the network in professional engagement, model fidelity and education best practices.
Betsy Delgado | Vice President of Mission & Education
Betsy Delgado is the Vice President of The Excel Center National Office at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana. Betsy leads the expansion of The Excel Center into new areas and the operation of the school model in collaboration with network leaders. She also oversees the building of rigorous evidence of effectiveness in partnership with the Lab for Economic Opportunity at Notre Dame University.
Kent Kramer | President & CEO
Kent A. Kramer is the President and CEO of The Excel Center National Office at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana. Along with his National Office teammates and other Goodwill staff, Kent supports the expansion of The Excel Center model into new Goodwill territories, collaborates with network leaders across the country and works with lobbyists on identifying opportunities for Goodwill to join the national conversation around high schools for adults.
Khalilah Palmer | School Development Director
Khalilah Palmer is the School Development Director for The Excel Center National Office. Khalilah is responsible for the comprehensive development and continuous improvement of multiple schools that have adopted The Excel Center model through a license from Goodwill Education Initiatives (GEI) and The Excel Center National Network schools. Khalilah Palmer actively manages relationships with The Excel Center National Network school directors and staff to ensure that all GEI-provided curricular, instructional and model element materials are developed and deployed to assigned schools.
Sarah Thomas | National Excel Center Business Development & Advancement Director
Sarah Thomas serves as the National Excel Center Business Development & Advancement Director. Sarah works closely with national partners to open The Excel Center campuses in new states. She provides support around engaging local leaders, community development and fundraising for The Excel Center.
